"Reforming Teacher Education Towards Green and Digital Transition in Mongolia"
The RETEACH project aims at reforming teacher education in Mongolia enabling the shift from traditional to future-oriented curricula and teaching methods for reaching national goals of general education and supporting green and digital transition.
Project specific objectives are:
- Capacity building of national and institutional administrators, decision makers, lecturers and researchers on teacher education policy and programs in line with national goals of general education, European Green Deal and Digital Agenda
- Development of “Teacher Education Strategy for 2027-2032 (TES)” promoting the shift from traditional to future, green and digital oriented teacher training curricula and methods
- Development of benchmarks for different level teacher initial education and revision selected bachelor and master programs, as well as teaching in STEM fields
- Creation of teacher education short credit program
- Piloting of revised teacher initial education bachelor, master, as well as short credit program
- Revision of practices related to in-service teachers’ continuous professional development
